1 dress, 2 styles

On a whim I tried styling this dress as a top because the material is very thin and as a dress it’s very see-through (I have to wear a slip dress underneath). And I loved how it came out. All I had to do was gather material in the back and tie a loose knot. Since the material is thin I didn’t have an issue with tying the knot. I think this is a great way to re-use pieces in your closet. I love when I can style pieces in more than one way because it’s one less purchase I have to make. I have yet to wear it as a dress, but if I do I would definitely wear a belt with it, it’s a little too wide on me.

I would love to try this style with other dresses I own, but it could become difficult depending on the material of the dress. It may be too thick to tie a knot. But might as well give it a shot, right?? I hope you guys give it a chance as well!
