A Pop of Color

Since we are now well into winter, I’m definitely feeling those winter blues. So when I come across a bright colored wall like this one, my mood is immediately lifted. Even though it was cold and windy, standing up against the orange felt like it was summer again (or I was abroad enjoying a tropical vacation….I wouldn’t mind either ๐Ÿ˜„). But since we are months away from Summer and I won’t be getting a tan anytime soon, for right now looking forย fun walls, eating ice cream, and staying warm will have to do.

Recently I have been loving Sherpa/furry jackets. This “bomber jacket”, as I like to call it, is great for layering (I love wearing it with a black turtleneck… could you have guessed that??). I also just got this Sherpa coat from Free People that I cannot stop wearing. It is super warm! I wish they still had more sizes in the white available because I would own both, and I very rarely buy two of the same things. This time I decided to mix the fur with a different pattern and I kind of like how it came out. I’m trying to mix up my style with pieces that are “out of my comfort zone”, like these two furry jackets for example. I’ve recently learned that if you’re not willing to take risks and do what YOU want to do, then life isn’t fun. Life is too short to not be happy or to try and please others. Recently I decided that this going to be one of my mottos and apply it to my life. So I’m starting small and will eventually build up to greater things (like maybe moving at some point???๐Ÿ˜ฌ).

^ I love this black and white photo so much!

My schedule has been a little hectic lately because this past week I started taking classes again (another new journey for me that I will share at some point). So this post is a little over due. I hope you enjoy!
